Terms of Agreement

1. PRIVACY

Please note that by registering with NORRAG the following details can be viewed by other members: Your name, your email, your country of residence and institution (but NOT postal address or telephone number), your area(s) and country(ies) of expertise. 

If you do not wish any of your details to be available to other members, you can opt out of this by un-ticking the box on the registration form: “I want my details to appear in the NORRAG Networking Tool”. 

If you wish you basic details to appear in the NORRAG Networking Tool, but not your email address, please un-tick the box on the registration form stating that “Other members can see the email”. 

The NORRAG networking tool is a mechanism that allows registered NORRAG members to access limited information about other members. NORRAG is not responsible for any exchange (financial or otherwise) or interaction that you may have with other NORRAG members that you contact via the NORRAG Networking Tool.

2. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit norrag.org or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by phone if necessary. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

3. COPYRIGHT

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of norrag.org or its content suppliers and protected international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of norrag.org and protected by international copyright laws.

4. TRADEMARKS

norrag.org, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names are trademarks of NORRAG. NORRAG may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not NORRAG’s, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion. NORRAG is not a firm, nor a business entity, it is a non profit project of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. It is international and established in Geneva, Switzerland.

5. SITE ACCESS

norrag.org grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose unless you have an explicit agreement with us for that. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of NORRAG unless you have an explicit agreement with us for that. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing NORRAG’s name. You are granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of norrag.org as long as the link does not portray norrag.org services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter.

6. SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time.
