Philanthropy & Education Journal 2.2 available

Philanthropy & Education Vol. 2 No. 2 supported by Teachers College Columbia University and edited by Professor Noah D. Drezner is now available.

This issue debates repeated memorial donations to a scholarship fund and experiential philanthropy courses. In addition, the journal includes articles on the impact of a leadership and extended orientation program on philanthropic giving of higher-education alumni, Andrew Carnegie’s philanthropy in the American Midwest, and a standalone, macro-enabled data workbook to analyse IRS 900 tax data. Two book reviews on philanthropy and education provide the reader with further information.

Philanthropy & Education is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual journal that includes empirical and scholarly articles, case studies, research and teaching briefs, and book reviews that discuss meaningful content around philanthropy. It informs about fundraising, volunteerism, civic engagement, alumni relations, corporate social responsibility, and prosocial behaviour development related to education.

The journal is available through JSTOR.
